I've been on a Voltron kick lately, thanks to the Devil's Due comic books published in 2004 and Ms. MaraJade's excellent fics. (Go read them here: [link]) I'm trying to work out an illustration of a scene she wrote in which Lance, Hunk and Pidge are playing a clandestine game of poker in a closet of the Castle of Lions.
This isn't part of that piece, but it is practice for it--I really like Lance's design in Devil's Due and was trying to put a pose together with his canon civvies instead of his pressure suit. But I was so pleased with how his face turned out that I really wanted it here instead of in Scraps. I'm just so fond of how it worked here. Isn't he just the most charming rogue? |
